| About 3 weeks ago, we contracted with Colony Builders, Inc. to construct a screened-in patio at the rear of our house. We were very specific that we didnt want a quotlean-toquot type addition but rather a finely crafted structure that would look as though it could have been part of the original house plan. That was on a Friday.
On Monday, your concrete crew showed up and took great care when placing the slab. They drilled into the house slab and inserted rebar to firmly secure the patio to the house. They removed the grass and dug footers just the way i would have done it myself. They even used a motorized dump-buggy to move the concrete from the mixer truck to the back of the house, which kept the heavy mixer off of my driveway.
Two days later, following some horrendous rain storms, the carpenters showed up and worked hard every day until their piece of the job was finished. They cleaned-up the area every evening before they left and even pulled a magent through the grass to ensure that no nails or screws remained that the mower might hit.
The electricians, roofers, painters and screeners all showed up on time and within 2 weeks, we had a finished addition that truly looks like it was hand-crafted for our home (which it was).
Last Saturday, my neighbors, curious about all the sawing and hammering that they had been hearing for 2 weeks, came over to see the finished addition. Everyone was amazed at the quality of the construction and how well it flowed with the existing house. Each asked for your phone number because they have been considering similar projects but were concerned about getting quality workmanship on a timely basis and at a fair price.
Thank you for the professional way in which your company handled what I believed to be a fairly compliated job and made it look easy. I would highly recommend Colony Builders, Inc. to anyone considering a home addtion of any kind. |
